Here you have my latest design challenge...the view to their view. Yes, the window in my bathroom looks into the neighbor's dining room. Either end of the spectrum, I suppose.
Sorry.
Anyway, with the blinds open the hall has light. I love light. However, window, next to well, you know, so blinds can't be open that often.
Until I actually applied my brain and remembered one can buy window film, like this:
What do you think, internets?
I think that's a great idea...and you can always peal it off if you don't like it.
ReplyDeleteAfter I commented I couldn't decide if it was peal or peel. So, I looked it up. I chose wrong...you can peel it off! Sorry :)
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was if you're going to go to the trouble of sticking something on the window, how about that paint stuff that looks like stained glass? Then I looked at the bubbly pains of glass and the clean lines of the room, and I say go with the clear.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm notice I'm just narcissitic enough to think you really want "MY" opinion! A word to the wise, my decorating style would run more along the lines of the Martin Short wedding planner in Father of the Bride. Kind of all over the place!
ReplyDeleteI love it and thinks it's fixes the problem for both you and the neighbors!!! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea. I'm a lover of light also. Mama
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good idea! I was going to do that with the arched windows in my apartment that curtains wouldn't cover (I think you actually gave me the idea!) But I couldn't find the peel off kind. Maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough.
ReplyDeletePerfect solution. Or, you could put in glass blocks, but that would cost quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteDining room to bathroom?! Haha. I don't know why that strikes me as funny, but it does! I like your idea--I think the film would be perfect!
