iPhone Sunset
I know, I know, a sunset usually features the sun. But when the sun was setting during last night's dog walk, this beautiful reflection was in the east. I couldn't resist trying to capture it with my iPhone and Camera+ app.
Just what the doctor ordered: a pleasant walk with my dogs and a beautiful view.

The Best Camera
I've heard some interesting things this week...first, current camera phones shoot at resolutions that outperform the first very expensive digital cameras. Second, scrapbookers are starting to use images from their camera phones in lieu of carrying about a big dslr or a compact camera - it's what they have with them and therefore it's handy.
That made me take a look at the iPhone photos I've uploaded to Lightroom over the past year. And sure enough, there are several that I like very much - so I'm sharing them with you.
I think my favorite is Church Lady (blue patterned dress and blue hat). The Heart Sunset, Red Rock and the glass bottles at Anthropologie are pretty close behind.
Do you use your camera phone to capture moments or feelings?

Random Snaps
I loved the sunlight coming through the golden leaved trees behind my house.
This tree on my street is magnificent.
Fortune cookies should be called Common Sense Cookies, and we should print trillions of this particular one.
My dogs never snuggle closely together. But while I was recovering from a cold last week I spent a lot of time napping on my sofa. So did they.
