Springtime on Piedmont

Along Piedmont, in front of the Atlanta Botanical Gardens the road is lined with fruit trees.  I assume they're cherries.  At any rate, for at least 3 weeks I drive to work watching the buds swell, then open, then seeing the trees leaf out in that improbably bright green of new growth.

One day, on the way home, I couldn't resist a sunroof snapshot - or a drive by shooting as I like to call it.

Bugged

These photos were drive by shooting photos - photos I take from my car window or sunroof.  See the guy who mugged for the camera in the photo to the left of the tree?  I didn't know he made the photo until I uploaded it.

In other news - Work!  Expanding to fit outside it's allotment!  Ack!

That is all.

Color Scheme

Aren't these colors wonderful?  They are wonderful color scheme inspiration.

More Doors

This first door is chopped off about 2/3 down because I took it from a car - but I got the parts that I liked most: the lights on either side, the light through the transom and the squares repeating everywhere.

Love this next one - it's so gray and moody and then there's the splash of the red door. This is a church, and I see it everyday on my way home.

Last but not least, here's one with all this red and yellow.  The fun is the partially functioning OPen sign to the left of the door.

It's gray and raining again here.  Just right for heading home and curling up on the sofa with my book.

Happy Friday!
