The best advice I got on taking pictures of animals was focus on the eyes.

Gus does not cooperate.

But I still like this one because you can see his whiskery fuzzy upper lip.

    How weird! I just read that same advice in another blog yesterday. And I wondered about the dog, mine, who won't look at me when I'm trying to take a photo.

    Eyes or no, this is one handsome dog!
