Boom!

Last night I went to watch the fireworks at the park. I was really looking forward to it because I wanted to try to take pictures. These are the ones I like best for one reason or another. This was F11, 400 speed. And no tripod, I was too self conscious. Next year, tripod. Still, the results were better than I expected. But I found myself just watching instead of snapping because I LOVE fireworks.

Despite the fact that it looks like I twirled the camera while the shutter was open, I put this one here because it was an unusual display that was repeated on top of the building we were in, and at the head of the park. And it was the big finale.

  1. Your fireworks photos put mine to shame. Then again, I'm sure the fireworks you watched put Troy's to shame!!

  2. Isn't it funny? I was thinking I really liked your photo. I have so many that are just bright blurs because the shutter would just stay open and not close! If they let us go to this building again, I was thinking you + family and Dawn's family need to come. It really is amazing.

  3. These pictures turned out great! My favorite is the first one. My shutter kept doing the same thing- I guess with the constant light change it was taking time to adjust. But these look really good!
