I heard about your extreme weather and lightening show on the news and of course, I was praying you had not been affected. I am glad you now have sunshine after such a wet and gloomy day.
Look at that gorgoeus baby flower. I hope your spirit is renewed!
This is my all time favorite flower ever! It's my favorite because it's one of the first that I see that ushers me out of winter and into the glorious season of spring; green grass, blooms, beautiful smells, and color. I love it! It also helps that yellow is my favorite color in the world!
I have one lone daffodil coming up in my backyard too. I see it each morning as I'm leaving for work . . . another sign that spring is coming is the fact that it isn't pitch black dark when I leave at 0-dark-thirty every morning and I really CAN see the daffodil.
Awwww daffodils and tulips are SO SWEET. Just like the pink cherry blossoms--SSG wishes they were here year round! Though perhaps that's what makes them so special--they come out at just the right time ...
Ok - totally late to the party because of travel. Still no daffodils at my house. They are my favorites for a multitude of reasons....hopefully, this weekend.

Ditto to Traci! I LOVE daffodils. Their yellow blooms can always be counted on to lift my spirit.
