Sweet Onion

What you see here is a testament to my current scatter-brained tendencies.  I made a bean salad one night, and forgot to put away the unused half of the sweet onion.  No great loss, by the way, the onion was not very sweet.  When I discovered my error the next morning, I just let it keep drying until the weekend.

I wanted to see what it would look like.

Yesterday the only afternoon light was in the kitchen window sill.

Onward and upward.  Or, time to go to work.

  1. Scatter-brained tendencies! I found a peeled onion on a shelf over the sink. Have no recollection of what is was for or why I put it there of all places. The other day I was half way to the cupboard where I keep the plates with the container of sour cream before I realized I should be heading towards the refrigerator. Just think of the science experiment I could have had!

I think your picture is awesome. In fact, to me it has a look about it that resembles "The Girl With the Pearl Earring." Very nice!
