My mother says that she would hear me talking when I was 2 or 3 and go see what was going on - only to find I was visiting with Mr. Rogers. I remember loving his show even when I was an older child and I'm sorry that many kids will never share those visits. A blog I follow posted this and I had never seen it, so I'll share it with you now.
Oh Molly, This touched me in a place I didn't know needed touching. I never really cared for Mr. Roger's puppets, but loved the man himself. His soft-spoken encouragement and love were what I sought after in my own life. Not that the feelings weren't there, but the tone was different. Thanks for the memories.
