Edited to add: I looked him up - he's a Hairy or Downy Woodpecker, the only one with a white back. But I think I have a second one visiting also. I'll try to capture an image of him too. Woodpeckers, pelicans and bluebirds are my favorite birds. Do you have any favorites?

I am going to have to try and remember that for next year!
and I wanted to let you know I did Not have any luck finding your birds.
I tried the three shops that i thought i might have seen them in last year, and only one lady knew what i was talking about, but said she did not have any.
sigh
She did however recommend a couple other shops, but they are a bit of a drive. So maybe next year !
