Waiting for September

I'm dreaming of a trip to the beach...and if I get to go, it will be in September.  In the meantime, I walk with the dogs everyday, with my iPod playing music or podcasts that fuel dreams.

Street Light

Crape Myrtle under the street light...on our walk this evening, I was looking for photos I could make with my iPhone. I took lots of pictures of our shadows and this one.  I think it's my favorite of the evening.

iPhone Sunset

I know, I know, a sunset usually features the sun.  But when the sun was setting during last night's dog walk, this beautiful reflection was in the east.  I couldn't resist trying to capture it with my iPhone and Camera+ app.

Just what the doctor ordered: a pleasant walk with my dogs and a beautiful view.

Iridescence

I was looking at the light this evening when I noticed something iridescent between me and the sun. It was a spider's web cast in a dead limb that had tangled in the mulberry tree.  The sun was sinking pretty quickly - you can see that since the iridescence is at 3 and 9 if the web were a clock.  In the next one it's at 7 and 2 and the colors have changed.
